Debt Collection by Legal Procedure

Debts that are not paid through voluntary collection can be collected through legal procedure. When a debt is undisputed it is possible to apply for a default judgement from a court, which can then be collected through seizure of property or income by public officials. Collection through seizure will continue until the debt has been collected in its entirety or until the debt has expired in accordance with the law.

Further tools of debt collection by legal procedure are, among others, repossession of property sold using a payment plan, eviction by the enforcement authorities as well as threats of and applications for bankruptcy.

Cash-In also handles cases where the debtor is in debt or enterprise restructuring, including the following:

  • Debt reports to the program administrator
  • Monitoring of the restructuring program
  • Receiving and bookkeeping of payments
  • Measures due to neglected payments
